A growing chain dedicated to revolutionizing the way we consume Korean cuisine has set its sights on a new DFW location. Cupbop turned its wildly successful food truck business into a beloved restaurant brand and is bringing its signature fare to Mansfield next year according to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The unique concept is setting up shop at 2421 East Broad Street. The forms filed with the TDLR state that Cupbop will be getting a brand new 1,103 square foot building to call its own, with work set to begin on the project on November 24 of this year.
Future regulars won’t have to wait too much longer to stop in and enjoy Cupbop’s delicious and distinctive fare. Franchisee Bryce Cranmer generously made some time to speak with What Now Dallas about the restaurant’s Mansfield arrival and prospective opening timeline. He states: “We’re super excited about our upcoming opening and to be part of the Mansfield community! Our goal is to open in mid-January, that’s the plan if everything lines up just right.”
DFW foodies unfamiliar with Cupbop’s signature “Korean BBQ in a cup” are in for a treat. The whimsical chain brings a sense of humor and fun to its cuisine without sacrificing quality. The website offers a glimpse at what’s to come, calling its menu: “Exotically flavorful, naturally healthy dishes you’ve never had a chance to try— and we make them all affordable, fresh, and lightning fast.”
Future Cupbop regulars will have plenty of options to choose from; the menu offers selections that highlight an array of chicken, potstickers, pork, and veggies. There’s even a combo option that allows guests to customize their ideal bop by selecting two proteins or veggies.
