Major fast-food chains across the U.S. are launching a wave of limited-time holiday specials. Whether one is looking for classic favorites or themed menu items, a variety of offerings, such as coconut cakes and dill pickle fries, await U.S. patrons.

New Holiday Menu Items Hit Fast-Food Menus This Week

From limited-time Disney-themed meals at McDonald’s to peppermint being the flavor of the month at Baskin Robbins, festivities are in full swing at several national chains, according to Snackolator.

The Grinch Meal by McDonald’s

McDonald’s is debuting a new limited-time meal built around its popular McShaker Fries. Designed for the holiday season, the meal is inspired by the nostalgic character ‘The Grinch.’ The meal combination features a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets as the choice of main. The highlight is the Dill Pickle McShaker Fries, featuring a tangy dill-pickle seasoning.

Each meal also includes a pair of holiday-themed socks featuring Grinch-inspired designs. One can use it as an impromptu stocking or Christmas home decor item.

According to Snackolator, The Grinch Meal is rolling out on Tuesday, December 2. Made in collaboration with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, the latest item is here for a limited time at participating restaurants across the U.S., until supplies last. More details are available here.

SpongeBob Meal by Burger King

Burger King is rolling out a SpongeBob movie-themed menu for the holidays. Patrons can find four items through the Burger King and SpongeBob partnership. The lineup includes the SpongeBob-inspired Krabby Whopper, Mr. Krabs Cheesy Bacon Tots, Patrick Star-Berry Shortcake Pie, and the Pirates Frozen Pineapple Float.

An accompanying King Jr Meal is another feature of the SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants menu. This will be served in a house-themed box. Five collectible toys and a limited-time SpongeBob crown are other unmissable highlights of the festive offer.

Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches by Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A is testing a long-requested Chicken & Waffles sandwich starting in December. Chicken & Waffles’ sandwich has a spicy chicken filet. This is placed between two maple waffles. The sandwich includes applewood-smoked bacon, honey butter, and a side of syrup.

According to Snackolator, the latest Chicken & Waffles offering is going to be available from December 1. However, it should be noted that this will be Chick-fil-A’s test product at locations in Baltimore and San Antonio only. While select Baltimore locations will serve the sandwich all day, the San Antonio restaurants will feature it exclusively at breakfast.

Disneyland Happy Meal by McDonald’s

The burger chain giant is ready to offer its Disney-themed Happy Meal deal this week. Celebrating Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary, the latest meal is set to offer 70 collectible toys that represent modern and classic characters from the Disney family. These include Mickey Mouse, Thanos, Moana, and more from the Marvel and Star Wars universes.

Coconut Cream Snowflake by Nothing Bundt Cakes

The bakery chain is launching a new seasonal cake ahead of the holidays. According to food news account SnackwithZach, the Coconut Cream Snowflake features a coconut cake loaded with vanilla pudding. The cake is finished with snowflake sprinkles and shredded coconut.
