Bode’s Corned Beef House in Plymouth, Michigan, has announced its closure and will serve its final dinner before Christmas. The closure comes after the sale of the building to a new property owner.
Iconic Bode’s Corned Beef House to Close After Sale
Bode’s Corned Beef House, a local favorite for more than six decades, is preparing to close its doors. The eatery is known for its signature dishes like corned beef sandwiches, fish and chips, sliced corned beef, and more.
The restaurant shared the news of its upcoming closure in a Facebook post. “It is with the deepest sadness and heaviest of hearts that we announce that Bodes Corned Beef House will be closing its doors on December 19th, 2025,” the team behind the restaurant wrote in the post.
The team explained that the decision to close was not something that they planned or anticipated and was made after the sale of the building to a new owner. “We are heartbroken to be unable to serve the Plymouth community for longer, but are so grateful for the 6 decades of watching families gather, and children grow up,” the team added.
