The newest location from the national pizza company is coming to a plaza just south of the University of Michigan campus.
Papa Johns has listed a new location online at 877 W Eisenhower Parkway, which will be the only current Ann Arbor shop. It is coming to the Colonnade Shopping Center. According to Director of Operations LeeAnn Hyndman, they are hoping to open on Dec. 26 with a grand opening the next day.
The company currently has locations in Ypsilanti, South Lyon and Jackson, and there have been Ann Arbor restaurants opened in the past. The new Ann Arbor shop will be franchised. On social media, staff have been showcasing the inside space, and as of mid-November work is being done on the kitchen.
“We’re super excited to be in Ann Arbor,” Hyndman told What Now Detroit.
The pizza company has become a household name, offering create your own pizza options for multiple sizes. Papa bites, wings, bowls and papidia sandwiches are also favorites. The same menu can be expected for the new location.
The new Papa Johns will be joining restaurants in the shopping center including Siam Square, Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Momo Sushi. At the grand opening on Dec. 27, free slices of pizza will be served, along with merchandise and a chance to get free pizza for a year.
