Gold’s Gym is expanding its presence in the Atlanta area. Franchise group HELIX2 FFS, helmed by CEO Koran Winters, will open Gold’s Gym at Buckhead Station in the space formerly home to Bed, Bath & Beyond, according to a LinkedIn announcement from HELIX2 FFS. The new location is expected to open in 2026.
“Our vision is simple: serious fitness for a serious community,” the post states. “This is just the beginning of our journey to expand the Gold’s legacy across Atlanta, one gym at a time.”
HELIX2 FFS also operates a Gold’s Gym at Hamilton Mill in Dacula, which is also the only other Gold’s Gym location operating in the Greater Atlanta area.
HELIX2, which is based in Texas, also operates Massage Envy franchises in Texas and athletic apparel brand Live Evolutionary.
Gold’s Gym, which launched in Los Angeles in 1965, has more than 600 locations globally, with the majority of those locations operating as franchises. RSG Group acquired the brand in 2020.
