Emotional Tributes on Social Media
Upon hearing the news of closure, loyal fans of The Brass Door were saddened and left heartbreaking messages under the post.

Another local customer dropped a cherished memory and mentioned, “So sad to hear this. My friends & I have made this a monthly stop for lunch or dinner for over 30 years. We’ve celebrated holidays, birthdays, anniversaries & (sadly) more than one passing. I’ll miss the Belvedere martinis, the prime rib & the friendly atmosphere.”
The Brass Door is closing down before Christmas and will leave behind almost 80 years of legacy. The restaurant added that it plans to come back with a new space or idea soon.
