The Philadelphia Department of Public Health conducted a health inspection at SET NoLibs on December 17. The inspection found the restaurant was not in compliance with food safety regulations.

Famous for its Mimosa and Margarita Towers, SET NoLibs is an Asian fusion restaurant offering American dishes. According to the health inspection report, the restaurant was cited for the following violations:
- No employee with a valid Food Safety Certificate (FSC) or a designated Person in Charge was present during the inspection.
- Soap and paper towels were missing at the bar handwashing sink, and soap was missing at the food preparation handwashing sink.
- A handwashing reminder sign was not posted at the warewashing hand sink.
- Shellstock stored in the walk-in cooler did not have required identification tags.
- Shelled eggs were stored above raw and ready-to-eat foods in the walk-in cooler.
- A loose packet of rodenticide was found near the ice machine.
- The report documented evidence of rodents, including mouse droppings, in several areas, including storage rooms, near the beer walk-in, ice machines, shelving, and floor perimeters.

- Food was not stored at least 6 inches off the floor in the walk-in cooler.
- According to the report, knives and cleavers were stored between table edges, where they could not be easily cleaned and sanitized.
- Cutting boards showed deep scratches and scoring, which would prevent sanitizing.
- The report noted that rust was present on warewashing shelving. Dust was observed on fan guards in the beer walk-in, heavy stains were seen on ceiling tiles near the hood. Grime and food debris were noted along floor perimeters in prep and warewashing areas.
- Hot water was observed to be slow to generate at all handwashing sinks.
- An unshielded light was observed under the kitchen hood.

Follow-up Inspection

According to the official report, the restaurant was not in satisfactory compliance. The establishment is expected to correct all the violations ahead of the reinspection. If not corrected, the eatery may lose its health license and face other legal action.
