A brand-new pizza joint is gearing up to open in Lincoln.

Lincoln Pizza has filed an alcohol license with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to move into the former Via Roma Pizzeria space at 2270 Nicolaus Rd, Suite 108, in the Town Market Center strip mall.

Owner Sukhjinder Bhullar, who previously operated a pizza restaurant in the area, told What Now Sacramento that the concept will focus on classic, no-frills pizza joint fare.

Patrons can expect popular pie combinations in small, medium, large, and extra-large sizes, alongside familiar crowd-pleasing appetizers like mozzarella sticks and hot wings. Beer and wine will also be available.

The roughly 32-seat space is currently undergoing renovations in preparation for the new pizzeria. While an exact opening date has not yet been set, Bhullar hopes to welcome guests as soon as possible, pending final permits and approvals. Once it debuts, Lincoln Pizza will operate daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Via Roma Pizzeria closed its Lincoln location this past July, though longtime fans can still find its homestyle pizzas, pastas, and meat dishes at the original Rocklin outpost.
