A South Florida-born luxury coffee brand is expanding to the Sacramento region.
Haute Coffee has announced plans to open three locally owned and operated cafés in Sacramento, Elk Grove, and Roseville, marking the brand’s first expansion to Northern California. While exact addresses and opening timelines have not yet been revealed, the company emphasizes that these locations will not be franchised.
“What started in South Florida is making its way to Northern California with our Founder teaming up with his best friend to bring Haute Coffee to the place we call home,” the brand shared on Instagram. “Why it works: we’re built on two things, delivering quality products and genuine service to our communities. And just to be clear: we’re not a franchise. We’re local, hands-on, and putting our name on every cup.”
Although Haute Coffee representatives have not yet responded to inquiries from What Now Sacramento, recent business filings for Haute Coffee Foothills, LLC indicate that local resident Karim Zahriya will be involved with at least one of the upcoming locations.
The company is also actively seeking local Northern California bakers to supply pastries and desserts, and recently put out a public call for partners. “We are looking for everything from croissants and muffins to danishes and decadent sweets, including cakes, cheesecakes, and more for our locations,” the post reads. “If you’ve got something delicious, we want to hear from you!”
Haute Coffee was founded in March 2023 as a mobile luxury coffee truck in South Florida, quickly gaining attention with its focus on Yemeni and Ethiopian coffee roasts. The brand later opened its first brick-and-mortar café in Southwest Ranches, where it serves unique artisan espresso drinks, specialty lattes, matcha, chai, and other elevated café staples.
While locals wait for word on storefront locations and opening dates, Haute Coffee is already giving Sacramento a taste through its luxury coffee and catering service.
