A local Peruvian-Mexican restaurant has temporarily relocated after a fire impacted its longtime home.
Lomito Fuzion—which is currently rebranding from its former name, Jimmy’s Peruvian & Mexican—was operating out of its space at 3032 Auburn Blvd in North Sacramento when a fire forced the restaurant to relocate. The eatery is now serving customers at 5825 Manzanita Ave, #2 in Carmichael, confirmed a representative for the business.
“While our original location is being repaired, Jimmy’s Peruvian & Lomito Fuzion dishes are proudly being served at this location — full service, same great flavors you love,” ownership wrote in a recent social media update.
The temporary setup places Lomito Fuzion inside the existing Rubio’s Tacos & Grill Restaurant space, allowing the team to continue serving customers while repairs are underway at the North Sacramento site. The menu features Peruvian and Mexican staples alongside a handful of American-influenced items, including tacos, burritos, and yuca fries.
“Come enjoy your favorite Peruvian classics while we work on reopening our original home,” the team added. “Thank you for your continued support and love — it truly means everything to us ❤️”
The company representative told What Now Sacramento that while an exact reopening timeline has not yet been announced, they hope to reopen at the original Auburn Blvd location as soon as possible. For the latest updates, follow @lomitofuzion3032 on Instagram.
