A fast-growing Columbus bakery known for its playful designs and polished desserts is expanding with a second location in Grandview.
Love Riley Cakes is preparing to open a new shop at 1089 W. 1st Ave., marking its second brick-and-mortar location in Central Ohio. While an opening date has not yet been announced, the move signals continued momentum for the young bakery brand.
The original Love Riley Cakes location opened in February 2025 at 14 Dillmont Dr. and quickly built a loyal following for its custom cakes, cupcakes, macarons and walk-in treats. The bakery is especially known for on-trend cake designs, often finished with witty phrases and detailed buttercream work that regularly make the rounds on social media.
Owner Riley Harris began baking at a young age and has spent years refining her craft. After high school, she trained at a premier bakery in Notting Hill, London, working under a world-renowned pastry chef. What started as a teenage hobby steadily evolved into a full-fledged career and, now, a growing local business.
