A Memphis restaurant space is trading out Italian cuisine for Mexican dining. Fuego Vivo, the latest from Tekila Restaurant Group, is on deck to open early this year in the former home of Carrabba’s Italian Grill, reports Commercial Appeal.
The steakhouse concept is establishing itself at 5110 Poplar Avenue. The certificate of occupancy filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development filed for the restaurant shows that Fuego Vivo will occupy a 6,000 square foot storefront and will have an occupant load of 230.
An opening timeline isn’t presently available for the Mexican restaurant, however Fuego Vivo anticipates being customer-ready early this year, suggesting Memphis foodies will be able to stop in for a delicious meal soon.
Customers curious about what lies in store can rest assured that Fuego Vivo will be bringing an elegant and delectable dining experience to the area. The website offers this insight: “You will find the finest international flavors expertly paired with high-end spirits and custom-designed cocktails. Come and redefine what a great dinner means: new experiences, new pairings, new pleasures.”
