Texas-based Shipley Do-Nuts has opened a new Houston location at 1901 S. Shepherd Drive, expanding the brand’s presence in the city’s Inner Loop. The shop will host its grand opening on Saturday, January 24.
Shipley Donuts to Celebrate Opening of New Store
Owned by a local franchisee, Mike Knoblelock, the new store will be open from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. It will be hosting a grand ceremony to celebrate the opening on Saturday at 5:00 AM. The store will give out free donuts for a year to the first 100 guests.
Guests attending the opening ceremony will receive a glazed donut with any purchase. The celebration will also include a Shipley merchandise giveaway, which will start at 7:00 AM.
The ceremony will host a family-friendly event featuring a balloon artist and a face painter from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Shipley Donuts offers more than forty kinds of fresh, handmade donuts. Some of the fan-favorites are signature glazed donuts cut into a hexagonal shape. They are served warm till 10 AM paired with the company’s Hot Glazed Guarantee.
The store is a working bakery where the bakers arrive at 3 AM to make the first batch. Guests can also place orders from the brand’s official website for an in-store pick-up or delivery.
Guests who participate in Shipley Rewards will get two free donuts. They will have access to several perks, including discounts, special promotions, and complimentary items.
