& Cheese Midtown Transitions into a Full-Service Destination

Known for blending Southern soul food flavors with classic American cheese melts, & Cheese Midtown has built a loyal following in Atlanta. After a successful run at Lenox Mall, the move positions & Cheese Midtown for broader reach in Atlanta’s urban core.
The opening marks the brand’s transition from a boutique mall concept to a full-service neighborhood café. Created by owner and operator Hanz Fuquiere, the brand is positioning itself as more than just a sandwich shop It is a reflection of his New York and Miami roots that are presented in the store’s menu.
The grand opening featured live music, local performers, and a ribbon-cutting event on Peachtree Street. The event signaled the brand’s intent to become a community fixture along Peachtree Street.
Elevating Comfort Food

& Cheese is not a “new kid on the block”; instead, it is a store that knows the neighborhood. After serving the residents from inside Lenox Mall, it has marked a major milestone with this location. The expansion was driven by the brand’s ability to elevate familiar comfort foods.
“I wanted to create something that felt familiar and tasted like the comforts of home for our guests,” says Hanz Fuquiere, founder of & Cheese Midtown. “Food is about community and bold flavors, which Atlantans already love, so we’re creating a twist on a popular comfort food that celebrates and offers a kaleidoscope of flavors in every bite.”
& Cheese Midtown elevates the experience by using artisanal breads and premium cheeses. The approach has helped the brand stand out in Atlanta’s crowded fast-casual dining scene.
Apart from the familiar taste of home, the store is designed with the aesthetic feel of a neighborhood cafe. The shop emphasizes local engagement and aims to become a go-to neighborhood café.
