Brew Hub, an innovative coffee shop doubling as a parcel pickup hub, is slated to open in Philadelphia’s Point Breeze neighborhood.

While the exact location has not been finalized, the shop will offer coffee alongside on-site UPS, FedEx, DHL and Amazon services.

“You can go to the Amazon store, or a lot of pharmacies have it where you can pick up packages, but nowhere you can sit down and relax if you’re on your way to the subway or leaving from work,” the owner told What Now Philadelphia.

The menu is still in its buildout phase, but Brew Hub plans to offer ethically sourced beans and crafted espresso drinks, pour-over coffee, cold brew, matcha, tea, and pastries or prepackaged food from local vendors. Customers can dine in or take their orders to go.

The concept was inspired by a similar idea in Seattle.

“I lived in Seattle, and there was a place below my apartment that did basically the same thing. It was my favorite place to go. I would sit there, drink coffee, mail things, and get packages there,” the owner said.

Brew Hub also aims to combat the recent epidemic of “porch pirates.”

A “porch pirate” refers to someone who steals delivered packages. In Philadelphia, those thefts totaled an estimated $450 million in 2024, according to a May 2025 report from the USPS Office of the Inspector General. The city ranked second behind New York City.

The owner aims to help in a small way while providing a welcoming space for the community.

“I’m excited to meet people from the community, see what’s going on, and keep my ear to the ground. Just a place for me to go to work and hang out,” the owner said.

Visit the Brew Hub website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook for updates on the location and buildout.
