Sant Ambroeus, the restaurant that offers Milanese fare and decadent pastries, is opening a South Beach location.
The restaurant will open at The Fifth Miami Beach, a luxury office building located at 950 Fifth Street and designed to reflect how people spend their work days now. Facebook Group, We Love Miami Beach reports that the restaurant will occupy 7,000 square feet of space, and should open November 2026.
The state-of-the art building will feature plenty of outdoor space, office suite terraces, a fitness center, and landscaping. The building’s website announces that The Fifth Miami Beach will house, “a thoughtful selection of on-site dining venues”, including a “best-in-class” dining establishment that will take up much of the ground floor and mezzanine, although the restaurant hasn’t been named, the description aligns with the 7,000 square feet that Sant Ambroeus will occupy. In addition, a juice bar and cafe within a courtyard butterfly sanctuary will also occupy the space.

Although the restaurant has become quite trendy thanks to social media, the original Sant Ambroeus dates back to 1936, when two pastry chefs opened a shop in Milan. 90 years later, Sant Ambroeus run by the SA Hospitality Group and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and serves pizzas, salads, pastas, and veal Milanese. The restaurant is famous for its Sant Ambroeus pastry – a light chocolate mousse cake with layers of moist chocolate almond sponge, soaked with a light rum syrup, topped with chocolate granules and caramelized cocoa nibs.
