Atlanta-based franchise The Daily Pilates is planning an opening in Dunwoody at 4511 Olde Perimeter Way, Suite 400. Franchise owner Radhika Bhatt is targeting a March opening for the location.
Lily Collins-Sak launched The Daily Pilates in 2015. It now has multiple existing locations in the area, including spots in Inman Park, Buckhead and Milton. Bhatt was attracted to the franchise because of her strong background in women’s health and oncology clinical trials. For more than a decade she worked in healthcare, focusing on helping teams streamline their practices.
For Bhatt, The Daily Pilates fulfilled her desire to tap into her artistic side and to continue to fuel her passion for women’s health, but from a different angle. Bhatt discovered Pilates when she was pregnant, and she became a fan of the workout, which puts less pressure on joints.
“Movement should feel inviting, not obligatory,” Bhatt said. “Pilates has been transformative for me, particularly through pregnancy and postpartum as I worked to rebuild my pelvic muscles, and the reformer offers a uniquely effective, low-impact way to build strength and confidence. This studio is about making wellness something women genuinely look forward to — an experience that feels luxurious, intentional, and sustainable.”
The forthcoming Perimeter studio will offer small-group reformer classes in a wellness-focused environment with 14 reformers. The design of the space is meant to immerse customers in an inviting, relaxing, luxurious experience. The atmosphere is set with dim lighting, soft music and non-toxic candles.
“It’s designed to invigorate all of your senses, from the scent that you smell when you first walk in to the mint spray that’s sprayed in the Reformer room while you’re working out,” Bhatt told What Now Atlanta.
Bhatt wants customers to feel a desire to work out rather than viewing it as an obligation. She hopes to cultivate this sentiment as she builds clientele at her studio, championing The Daily Pilates as a hub for modern wellness rather than simply a workout spot.
“That’s the vision behind it: empowering women to feel their best and get a workout in while feeling like they are part of an elevated experience as opposed to a mundane workout,” Bhatt said.
In addition to workout classes, the studio will offer wellness events. Bhatt is currently offering founding memberships, which will include unlimited monthly reformer classes at a reduced rate.
