Kennesaw Welcomes Raising Cane’s: A New Culinary Destination
One of the nation’s fastest-growing restaurant brands, Raising Cane’s, is opening a new location in Kennesaw. Located in Kennesaw’s Town Center area, the restaurant is positioned to serve nearby Kennesaw State University students and local shoppers. The new restaurant will open on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Raising Cane’s will soon surpass 1,000 locations, with plans to open nearly 100 restaurants this year. The Kennesaw opening adds to the brand’s rapid national expansion. The brand is all about ONE LOVE-Craveable Chicken Finger Meals and its Box Combo.
The new restaurant will serve the brand’s premium chicken that is marinated for at least 24 hours. The restaurant will operate Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight, with extended hours until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Kennesaw Restaurant Experience
The new Kennesaw restaurant is built for speed and designed with local pride. It features a double-lane drive-thru and a spacious dining room. Designed to serve hot chicken fingers quickly, the restaurant aims to foster a strong sense of community in the neighborhood.
The restaurant will feature memorabilia from local high schools and Kennesaw State University. Kennesaw keepsakes, like a Kennesaw Mint Coin and a Big Shanty Railroad brochure, will also be placed in the restaurant. These elements celebrate the local pride and what makes the area unique.
Another key feature is the inclusion of nods from local celebrities and merchandise from Atlanta teams, adding vibrancy to the restaurant. These include nods from celebrities like Ty Pennington, Casey Darnell, Larry Gene Nelson, and other names. The merchandise is from the Hawks, Dream, Braves, Gladiators, and Atlanta United.
Grand Opening Community Celebrations and Giveaways
The celebrations at the new Raising Cane’s in Kennesaw begin on the morning of January 27, 2026. Between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., entries for a lucky draw will be accepted, and the draw will take place at 9:30 a.m. This Lucky 20 draw will award 20 customers (age 13+) with free Cane’s for a year.
At 9 a.m., a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring the Cobb Chamber of Commerce will begin. There will be a check presentation to Giving Kitchen during this event. Following this, customers are invited to line up before the doors open at 10 a.m.
The first customer in line will receive a one-of-a-kind gift basket and a big welcome from all the crew. The first 100 combos purchased in-restaurant will receive a Cane’s branded beanie, swag bag, and a free box combo card for a future visit.
Other customers who purchase a combo on opening day will receive a hat, a swag bag, and a card while supplies last. To keep the energy among waiting customers up, DJ Empress Rah will spin tunes from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
