NAWA Coffee House is embarking on opening its first location in Friendswood. According to a recently filed permit, the new coffee shop is set to open at 2210 S. Friendswood Drive.

Community Impact reports that the new cafe that will open in Friendswood is slated to open this spring, in March.

Halla Saadeh was listed on the permit for the new NAWA Coffee House. What Now Houston reached out to Saadeh to find out more details about the opening. Saadeh confirmed that the new coffee shop would be opening soon, but did not share more details by the time of this publication.

“We are best friends and nurses who want to start a coffee shop,” Saadeh shared via text.

The opening has already been announced on all of the NAWA Coffee House social media pages. But the coffee house does not yet have a website.

The shop, which takes its name from the Arabic word for “the seed,” is expected to offer Middle Eastern tradition in a modern setting, according to the brand’s Facebook page.

“Rooted in culture, crafted with heart” is displayed on its social media pages well. The brand has a focus on sourcing ethically produced coffee beans. The new cafe is also expected to offer pastries like flaky croissants baked fresh each morning.

While there aren’t many details available just yet about this eatery, you can expect to see and hear more information circulating as anticipation and excitment continues to mount.

So, keep your eyes open and your ears peeled for the latest on the newest Friendwood addition.
