If the idea of a warm, inviting space that serves everything from coffee to champagne and caviar sounds good to you, get ready for Péché Mignon.

The champagne bar and cafe, by pastry chef Sappir Zuzan, is coming to Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood at 452 NE 31st Street March 2026.  Zuzan, whose resume includes working at a two-Michellin-starred restaurant in the South of France, hopes to combine the same level of precision and quality as a fine dining establishment with a relaxed setting at her first solo endeavor. “The experience of working at a Michelin-rated restaurant was awesome, but I knew when it came time to open my own place, it had to be a cafe that was more casual and accessible,” she tells What Now Miami.

Menu items will take inspiration from Zuzan’s Middle Eastern culture and her travels, combined with the French techniques she acquired during her formal dining training. “I like to experience new foods and taste new fruits, in particular,” she shares, adding, “I like to bring those flavors and experiences into my dishes.”

Zuzan also wants to highlight the joys of brunching at Péché Mignon, regardless of the day of the week or time of day. “You can have brunch items for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.”.  One example: her signature brioche French toast topped with crème fraîche and caviar — a dish made to be paired with a glass of champagne. The cafe will also offer savories like bowls, salads, and sandwiches. Since Péché Mignon literally translates to “guilty pleasure” from French, expect some indulgent freshly baked pastries and croissants in flavors like matcha rose, London Fog, lemon meringue, and cookies & cream.

The intimate cafe will seat just 25 people inside, with an outdoor patio for 12-18 people, with counter service in a soothing space that combines rich green tones with warm wood. Péché Mignon will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at first, with plans for it to stay open later on weekends for those who want to enjoy some late night bubbles with friends.
