Hungry Howie’s, the originator of the Flavored Crust pizza franchise, is continuing its growth across Metro Detroit with the opening of three new locations in Mt. Clemens, Redford and West Bloomfield, with a Detroit proper location on the Wayne State University campus slated to open soon.

The new restaurants build on the brand’s recent momentum in the region, following openings in Southfield and St. Clair Shores, and reflect continued franchisee investment across suburban and urban markets throughout Metro Detroit.

“Hungry Howie’s has long-standing ties to Metro Detroit, and expanding across the region is incredibly meaningful for our brand,” said Steve Jackson, president and CEO of Hungry Howie’s in a statement. “From established suburban communities to walkable urban neighborhoods, these new locations allow us to serve more guests while supporting passionate franchisees who know their local markets best.”

Newly Open Hungry Howie’s Locations

75 N Main St., Suite 100, Mount Clemens, MI 48043

The downtown Mt. Clemens location is owned by brothers Harold and Chris Norris, longtime Hungry Howie’s franchisees with deep roots in Macomb County. Harold began his career with the brand as a delivery driver in 1987 and has grown alongside Hungry Howie’s for nearly four decades. This marks the first Hungry Howie’s in Mt. Clemens and is designed to serve the city’s revitalized downtown area, with Chris’s son, Justin Norris, helping lead day-to-day operations.

6247 Orchard Lake Rd., West Bloomfield Township, MI 48322

The West Bloomfield location is owned by longtime friends and business partners Tim Mooneyhan and Brian Plait, who have known each other for more than 20 years and share deep roots with the Hungry Howie’s brand. Opening together in West Bloomfield, where Mooneyhan lives, marks a full-circle moment for the pair. Located in Sugar Tree Plaza, the restaurant will serve West Bloomfield and surrounding communities, with plans to support local schools and organizations. The West Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting on Wednesday, January 28 at 5:00 PM.

25249 Plymouth Rd, Redford Township, MI 48239

The newly opened Redford location expands Hungry Howie’s presence in western Metro Detroit, serving a mix of residential neighborhoods and nearby commercial corridors with convenient access for carryout and delivery.
