What started as a Cajun-chicken restaurant in Charlotte has turned into a nationwide chain expanding into new markets including Ohio.
Bojangles is expanding to a location in Lancaster at 1736 N Memorial Drive, per a report from NBC4. This will be their newest Ohio restaurant featuring a drive-thru. An opening date has not been announced yet.
The restaurant is being introduced by franchisee Jeff Rigsby, who has sought out to bring around 15 Bojangles to the Buckeye State. What Now Columbus previously reported on new Bojangles locations coming to Columbus at 891 Hilliard Rome Road, 853 S 30th Street in Heath and at 39 Coughlin Lane in Delaware. All three locations are now open.
Fans of Bojangles can expect the signature menu items served at this location, including the Cajun filet biscuit combo and chicken sandwich combo. Locations also offer boneless chicken, family meals, salads and kids meals. Limited time menu options are available on their website.
The drive-thru restaurant is situated on the north side of N Memorial Drive next to Burger King and close to a Sheetz gas station. This is across from the intersection of Pierce Avenue. Other chains along this stretch of road include KFC, 7 Brew Coffee and Starbucks.
This project was recently approved by the Lancaster Board of Zoning Appeals and is now listed online. There have not been any announcements of additional Ohio locations, but these are expected to be released in the near future.
