A family-owned pizzeria that has been operating for nearly a decade in Minnetonka, Minn., is expanding for the first time and has selected Brentwood for its second location. Station Pizzeria will open at 7007 Moores Lane. The team is targeting an opening at the beginning of April, owner Jake Schaffer told What Now Nashville.
The team decided to open a spot in Brentwood when one of the partners in the business moved there, which presented the opportunity for a location in the Nashville area. The Minnesota location was formerly a 1934 gas station, so the Brentwood location provided the team with more flexibility with designing the space.
“This is our first opportunity to design the restaurant how we want it to fit our business flow,” Schaffer said.
The forthcoming location in Brentwood will open in a roughly 4,000-square-foot space with two patios. There will also be a stage for live music.
The menu features made-from-scratch tavern-style pizzas, smoked wings, salads and pastas. Specialty pizzas include the Tonka, made with house-smoked chicken, jalapeno, red onion, blue cheese crumble and buffalo sauce, as well as El Camino, made with taco meat, black beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, crema and tortilla strips. The spot will also serve beer and wine.
The Brentwood location will function as a full-service restaurant, but it will also offer takeout and carryout options.
