Global Tea Brand Opens Flagship Location in New York City’s Koreatown

Teapulse opened its new flagship store in Koreatown at 65 W 30th Street in Manhattan last weekend, marking the start of a broader expansion in New York City. The brand will continue its rollout in early 2026 with new cafes near Canal Street in Chinatown, Madison Square Park, and Central Park.

Teapulse Brings a Modern Take on Boba Culture

Teapulse is known to blend traditional techniques of making tea with modern methods and wellness-focused innovations. A pioneer in the modern boba and milk tea movement, the brand represents the expansion of the 19-year-old Jidong in the US.

Introducing its premium teas and pastries to the world, the brand has over 2,000 locations worldwide. After its quick expansion in Asia, the company will now debut its products in America. Teapulse curates seasonal fruits, tea leaves, modern preparation methods, and fresh milk without the use of artificial additives.

Some of the menu highlights are Silky Milk Teawhich is a lighter milk tea, Cheese Teas, Fruit Teas, and Lemonade-Infused Teas. The stores have a monthly rotational menu. Its signature premium tea-infused lemonades mix antioxidants with nutritional benefits and indulgent flavor.

Teapulse offers some of its signature flavors like Jasmine, Amber Ceylon, Orchid Blanc, and Osmanthus, which are available as silky milk teas and cheese teas. The menu highlights teas focused on fruit blends mixed with antioxidant-rich lemonades and flavors like strawberry and grape. Some of the other toppings rounding up the customizable menu are whipped milk foam, cream cheese floats, and tapioca pearls. Paired with the beverage menu, it also includes a light bakery program that is centered around pastel de nata. The latter is a Portuguese-style egg tart, a unique part of Macau’s culture, made with a flaky pastry and a rich, creamy egg custard filling.
With the opening of its Koreatown flagship, Teapulse marks a significant step in its US expansion, bringing a modern, wellness-minded interpretation of global tea culture to Manhattan.
