A popular Philadelphia coffee shop is expanding its footprint with a sixth location.
ReAnimator Coffee, run by Mark Capriotti and Mark Corpus, is set to open at 6509 Germantown Ave. in Mt. Airy, according to the shop’s website.
The shop currently operates outposts in Fishtown, South Kensington, South Philly, West Philly and Port Richmond.
“We are constantly amazed and impressed by the complex interactions that coffee creates in our brains and our society, the connections it forges, and the creativity that it inspires,” the website reads.
ReAnimator emphasizes both the quality and ethical sourcing of its coffee, ensuring every cup and bag is freshly roasted and responsibly produced.
They offer single-origin beans, including Peru Yuraq Yuku, Honduras Danny Moreno, Ethiopia Goro Muda and Colombia Desvelado Decaf, alongside blends like the Keystone Blend, All Day Medium Roast and the Foundation Blend.

The menu features classic coffees and espresso drinks, along with tea and baked goods. One of their newest creations is the Salted Rose Latte, made with house syrup, rose petals and rose water, steeped with Himalayan pink salt, beetroot powder and a hint of lemon.
Beyond the brews, ReAnimator offers merchandise like sweatshirts, hats, mugs, and even collectible matchboxes.
Want to brew at home? Their website features a brewing guide, where visitors can click through an animated, step-by-step process for using an auto-drip machine, AeroPress, pour-over, French press, Hario switch or espresso machine.
The website indicates the new ReAnimator Coffee outpost is “Opening soon!” Once it opens, it will operate Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Follow along on Instagram for updates.
