Prime Pizza, known for its New York–style pies made with top- quality ingredients, is now open in Brea. Located at 235 E Imperial Hwy, the new shop is Prime’s first in North Orange County.

“We’re incredibly excited to open our doors in Brea,” said Zak Fishman, Co-Founder of Prime Pizza in a statement. “Brea has such a strong local food culture, and from day one we’ve felt genuinely welcomed by the community. Our goal is simple—to be a true neighborhood pizza shop where we get to know our guests, see familiar faces, and become part of their weekly routine. We can’t wait to meet everyone, celebrate together at our grand opening, and start giving back to the Brea community.”

Founded in Los Angeles in 2014, Prime Pizza has built a loyal following for its authentic New York–style pizza made with top quality ingredients. It all starts with the fundamentals: dough, sauce, cheese, and technique. Each pie begins with dough made fresh daily using King Arthur flour, Grande cheese, Stanislaus tomatoes, and Corto olive oil from Central California.

Brea will serve Prime’s full menu of round and square pies, including guest favorites like Cheese, Pepperoni, and Vodka, as well as The Grandma and Spicy Pepperoni square pies. True to a classic New York slice shop, the menu also features hot subs and baked pastas like Chicken Parm, Vodka Rigatoni, and Meatball Sub. Rounding out the offerings are garlic knots, salads, vegan and gluten-free options, and the fan-favorite Churro Knots for dessert.

Guests can enjoy Prime’s full menu ahead of a Grand Opening celebration set for Saturday, February 21. The event will feature free pizza, face painting, giveaways, and more and the first 50 guests in line will receive exclusive merch.

Prime doesn’t chase trends or pile on gimmicky toppings. It focuses on craft, consistency, and balance, the essentials of a great New York slice. When the team does experiment, it’s done with intention. Past limited-time collaborations with Jitlada, Tacos y Birria La Unica, and Bludso’s BBQ have mixed LA flavor with Prime’s classic style. In January, the limited-edition Heat Check collab with Earl Sweatshirt drew lines around the block at the Fairfax shop as fans showed up early to get a first slice. A new top secret collab is already in the works and its dropping in just a few weeks.
