Houston Landmark Eatery Set to Close One Location After Decades of Loyal Fans

A Houston classic burger chain, Becks Prime, has announced the closure of its Wilcrest location after 35 years of operation in the neighborhood.

Locals across Houston have been enjoying fresh burgers by Becks Prime since 1985. New locations have been added, and some operations ended in the journey. Becks Prime recently announced that its Wilcrest location at 11000 Westheimer Rd. will close permanently.

Becks Prime to Close Wilcrest Location

Becks Prime Restaurants is closing the long-standing Wilcrest location permanently on February 8 at 4 pm. The restaurant hasn’t shared a reason for the closure, but customers are encouraged to stop by before it closes.

In the announcement post, the restaurant thanked the community for 35 years of support and memories. Staff members have been offered positions at other Becks Prime locations to ensure a smooth transition.

The announcement shared, “Randy, our longtime GM, will continue with us at Kirby and Memorial Park, and Charles will be heading to Augusta”. The announcement followed reactions from longtime visitors, many of whom expressed appreciation for the restaurant’s years of service and its role in the local dining scene.

Expansive Presence of Becks Prime Restaurants
