The beverage industry brings exciting news for soda lovers in 2026. Major brands like Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Fanta, Dr Pepper, and others are rolling out new flavors, limited-time releases, and the return of popular favorites, according to Snackolator’s social media post.

2026 Set To Be a Big Year for Soda Fans With New Flavors

Leading beverage companies are releasing a mix of new flavors and returning favorites in 2026. Coca-Cola is leading the 2026 lineup with several new and returning flavors. The company is expanding its cherry-flavored lineup with two new additions.

The brand is launching Coca-Cola Cherry Float and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Cherry Float.The releases are scheduled for February in the U.S., with availability in Canada beginning in March.

According to Snackolator, a food-focused news social media page, Fanta Crimson Sour Cherry is expected to arrive in April 2026 alongside the release of the Diablo expansion pack, adding a sour cherry option to Fanta’s lineup.

“The Dr Pepper Creamy Coconut returns this spring, and I’ve seen April/May as the release date, so I’ll update as we get closer,mentioned Snackolator.

Mountain Dew’s Cream Soda Dew and the new Thrillin’ Vanilla and Punchin’ Peach Mr. Pibb will also hit the stores soon.

PepsiCo is entering the functional soda category with the launch of Pepsi Prebiotic Cola, set to debut in fall 2026, according to a PR Newswire report. The new drink will be available in Original Cola and Cherry Vanilla flavors and is positioned as a lower-sugar alternative within the traditional cola segment.

Pepsi Prebiotic Cola contains 5 grams of cane sugar, 30 calories, and no artificial sweeteners, along with 3 grams of added prebiotic fiber, while maintaining the classic Pepsi taste.

Classic Soda Flavors Make a Comeback in 2026

Coca-Cola is also bringing back Diet Coke Cherry as a permanent item after strong consumer demand following its earlier discontinuation.

Canada Dry is also making changes to its portfolio. Strawberry Fruit Splash Ginger Ale, first introduced in 2025, has now been added as a permanent flavor. After gaining popularity as a limited release, the drink is being distributed nationwide in both regular and zero-sugar varieties.

From revived classics to fresh twists on familiar drinks, store shelves are expected to see a wider range of soda options throughout the year.
