OCVIBE, a large-scale mixed-use district centered around food, entertainment, and nightlife, is getting ready to unveil six original bar and lounge concepts in Anaheim at 2610 E Katella Ave.

The bars are scheduled to open in March 2027 inside Katella Commons, a newly named, 50,000-square-foot, two-story market hall, according to a press release. The bar collection is being developed under the direction of acclaimed chef Rémi Lauvand and will open alongside 21 chef-driven kitchens within the market hall. Customers can expect a mix of intimate cocktail lounges, casual social bars, and high-energy spaces.

The six concepts include Bar Bacchia, a moody tasting bar focused on amaro-forward cocktails and curated wines, and Vesper Lounge, a minimalist cocktail lounge inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian design, centered on gin, martinis, spritzes, and botanical spirits. Barrel Bar will offer a modern European cafe-style experience that transitions seamlessly from day to night, serving cocktails, beer, wine, and globally inspired small plates. Rea’s Ranch will feature a relaxed, beer-garden-style setting with draft beers, natural wines, and daytime coffee service.

Two additional concepts will complete the lineup: a tequila-forward bar at the social heart of Katella Commons, surrounded by greenery and serving cocktails, frozen drinks, and modern classics. The final concept will be a bold, high-energy pavilion inspired by late-1970s glamour and early-1980s maximalism, featuring visually striking cocktails and a lively social atmosphere. Together, the six bars are intended to create a full day-to-night experience within the market hall.

OCVIBE is a 92-acre master planned campus taking shape around Honda Center, with shopping, dining, sports, entertainment, open space, apartments, offices, and parking currently underway and continuing to unfold over the next several years. The privately funded district represents a $5 billion investment by the Samueli Family and is designed to create a walkable, year-round destination in Anaheim. Chef Rémi Lauvand brings experience from Paris and New York kitchens, including serving as executive chef at Montrachet in Tribeca, and is guiding the overall food and beverage vision for Katella Commons.

“Katella Commons is intended to be the gathering place for Anaheim,” Nick Pacific, Vice President of Katella Commons Operations, said in a press release. “Every kitchen, bar, and lounge within the OCVIBE district is intentionally designed to encourage discovery and give guests the freedom to experience the space and the food in their own way.”
