A new intimate sit-down restaurant is joining Carnegie Hill, according to a liquor license application filed with Manhattan Community Board 8. The upcoming restaurant is listed as Linda’s, though the board did not confirm if Linda’s will be the restaurant’s official name.

Linda’s restaurant is owned by husband-and-wife duo Linda and Victor Shkrelja, who are long-time restaurant owners. For the past 20 years, the Shkreljas run Italian spot Lex Restaurant on 1370 Lexington Ave., a five-minute walk around the corner from the upcoming Linda’s.

The space on 44 E 92nd St. that Linda’s is set to move into formerly housed Table d’Hôte. Though the restaurant is full-service, the Shkreljas are working with less than 400 square feet of space, able to fit 10 tables and 20 people. Linda’s operating hours are 4 p.m. to 10 p.m from Mondays to Thursday. Linda’s will also serve weekend brunch, starting from noon until 10 p.m.

Linda’s does not have an official opening date as of yet. What Now New York reached out to the Shkreljas for comment, but didn’t hear back at the time of publication.
