Nashville-based Waldo’s Chicken & Beer is opening at 4106 Hillsboro Circle, according to a recent permit. Plans call for renovations to the single-story standalone restaurant space that stretches over 2,700 square feet.

Mark Waldo launched Waldo’s in Nashville in 2019. The spot specializes in Southern fried and rotisserie chicken. Menu items include chicken tenders, sandwiches, salads, plates and snacks such as loaded nachos and wings. It also offers a rotating selection of beer as well as cocktails.

“We’re all about keeping things easy: delicious food, cold beer, good vibes. Our menu is straightforward: you can get chicken on the bone, on a bun, in a bowl or in a basket,” the website states. “The sides are made fresh every day from tried-and-true family recipes. And you better believe the beer is always ice cold.”

Existing local locations include Germantown, Cool Springs, Franklin, Charlotte Pike, Brentwood, Belle Meade, Cordova and Nolensville. The brand also has locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland and Oklahoma.

Waldo confirmed the forthcoming location in a message with What Now Nashville but was not immediately available to provide further details. Stay tuned for further updates.
