Located at 415 W 24th St. in Austin, Limegreen Southeast Asian Grill offers food that is “Fresh, Fast, Flavorful.” With favorites including Lemongrass Pork Bánh Mì (Juicy pork infused with fresh lemongrass and herbs) and Steak Pho (Smoky, grilled steak in aromatic beef broth with rice noodles and fresh herbs), it’s a mainstay for Vietnamese food and other Southeast Asian cuisines—and now it’s building on its success with a new location.
At the end of January, the City of Leander published a blog post announcing that Limegreen Southeast Asian Grill has a new location in the works in the city, at 145 South Brook Drive, Suite 120. Construction on the new Limegreen is set to run from March 16 to August 17, the post says.
“The menu may be a little bit different,” co-founder Annie Pham told What Now on Friday. “But the main dishes should be the same.”
Pham declined to share more details at this time, but did add that Limegreen is actively looking to expand further.
The Leander space will be slightly smaller than the Austin location, although the details there are still under wraps.
“Founded in Austin by Annie Pham, Ngoc Phan, and Minh Phan, Limegreen Southeast Asian Grill features customizable bowls, bánh mì sandwiches, teas, and Vietnamese coffee inspired by Vietnamese and Southeast Asian cuisine,” the City of Leander post says.
“Limegreen Southeast Asian Grill was founded in Austin by Annie Pham, Ngoc Phan, and Minh Phan to bring bold, fresh Southeast Asian flavors to our community,” says the Limegreen website. “From customizable bowls and bánh mì to refreshing teas and Vietnamese coffee, every dish at Limegreen reflects the heritage we grew up with and the traditions we love to share.”
