Seapot, an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and hot pot restaurant, is getting ready to open a new location in Anaheim.
The company’s Anaheim location was recently announced on its website as coming soon, joining a growing list of Seapot restaurants across California and beyond. While an exact address and opening date have not yet been announced, the Anaheim restaurant is expected to follow the brand’s large-format design and all-you-can-eat model. The concept combines Korean BBQ and shabu-shabu-style hot pot at one table, offering a revolving conveyor belt of ingredients alongside individual pots and tabletop grills. Customers can expect premium meats, fresh seafood, seasonal vegetables, and a wide selection of broths.
Seapot currently operates locations in San Mateo, Daly City, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Sacramento, Pasadena, Cerritos, Northridge, and Burbank in California, as well as Plano, Texas, and Troy, Michigan. The brand has expanded steadily, with large-footprint restaurants that often seat more than 200 guests. Many locations also feature private dining rooms designed for group gatherings and celebrations. The Anaheim opening marks another step in the company’s Southern California growth.
The restaurant is known for its conveyor belt format, allowing customers to select rotating ingredients throughout their meal. This setup creates a more interactive dining experience compared to traditional hot pot restaurants. Seapot positions itself as a high-end experience with accessible pricing, appealing to families, friend groups, and large parties. Private rooms are also available at many existing locations for birthdays, business dinners, and special occasions.
The hot pot menu features a wide range of broth options, including Spicy House Soup made with Sichuan peppercorns, Healthy Herb Soup with chicken bone broth, Thai Tom Yum, Tonkatsu pork bone broth, Sukiyaki, Miso Soup, Vegan Miso, Ginseng Chicken, Kimchi Soup, Curry Pot, Tomato Soup, and Mushroom Soup. Customers can customize their pots with meats, seafood, vegetables, and specialty items pulled from the conveyor system.
On the Korean BBQ side, selections include Beef Bulgogi, Galbi marinated short rib, Ribeye Steak, Brisket, Pork Belly, Garlic Pork Belly, Chicken Bulgogi, Spicy Chicken, Garlic Shrimp, Teriyaki Octopus, Beef Tongue, and Fresh Oyster. The all-you-can-eat format allows customers to grill items tableside while enjoying hot pot, creating a dual-dining experience at one table.
