Atlanta’s dining scene is expanding again, with several new restaurant concepts on the way. WhatNow reported several upcoming restaurant openings across Atlanta last week. Some are brand-new concepts, while others are established names expanding to new neighborhoods.

From barbecue spots to new bars, these concepts will bring something new to the table. Here are the upcoming openings that are soon to shine in Atlanta.

Fincher’s BBQ

Fincher’s BBQ is a longstanding family-owned barbecue spot in Atlanta, is expanding to Warner Robins. The restaurant will take over a space that previously housed a barbecue concept and later a coffee shop.

Fincher’s new home will be located at 102 S. Armed Forces Blvd and has plans to open in April. The menu will feature favorites like pulled pork, ribs, chicken, pork chops, burgers, and sandwiches. Read more about the opening here.

La Tropical

La Tropical will join the 24,000-square-foot food hall CTR Food Works. Serving Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Latin cuisine, this will mark the second location for the local brand. Like the other CTR Food Works tenants, La Tropical is also expected to open by mid-2026.

La Tropical is a beloved Atlanta restaurant known for its bold flavors and classic dishes. The new location will offer dishes like Cuban sandwiches, bacalaitos, and arroz con pollo. Read more about the opening here.

Ike’s Cafe and Grill

After announcing plans for Edgewood, Ike’s Cafe and Grill has set its sights on Marietta. The West African restaurant is soon to take over a 3,200-square-foot space, opening a full-service restaurant. It is expected to open this spring and will offer sit-down breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

The new space will represent the restaurant’s growth and its goal to share African flavors. The new restaurant will feature dishes like smoky jollof rice, tender suya, rich egusi soup, and plantains. Read more about the opening here.

Station 11

Restaurateur Asim Walker is back with a new concept, and this time, he is taking over a historic firehouse building. Station 11 is his new concept that will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. It plans to open around the end of March.

The space spans 3,300 square feet and will feature 1900s charm with modern touches. The menu will be a Caribbean-Asian fusion featuring items like oxtail sandwiches and more. Read more about the opening here.

The Boiler Room

The team behind Hop City is bringing a new bar to Upper West Market named The Boiler Room. It will be taking over a former boiler room in a building at 1385 Collier Road. The space will feature 100-year-old brick walls and murals by street artist Catlanta.
