Starting out in Rochester, New York, a coffee company may bring Yemeni drinks to the township.

Albunn Coffee House is being teased as a new cafe coming to 50980 Shelby Road this year. This is set to be the company’s second location other than the Rochester cafe. One of the owners told What Now Detroit there is not an opening date as the franchise agreement has not been signed yet.

The coffee company is a relatively new concept as the Rochester location opened in June last year. It has become known for serving espressos, matchas and Yemeni traditional coffees. For pastries, the company offers honey cakes, and rose cakes with berries on top.

Albunn joins the plaza at the corner of 23 Mile Road with Taqueria Lime & Salt. This is across the street from an Amoco gas station. Other cafes nearby include The Daily Blend Cafe, Ken’s Cozy Cafe and Tim Hortons.

As construction has not started and the franchise owners are waiting on permits, the opening date will be announced in the coming months. The company has also teased a new location may be coming to Seattle in the future.

The team has created an Instagram page their cafe, which can be found here.
