Smoking Tiger, known for its coffee and specialty pastries, is planning two new locations around the Los Angeles area. It has plans to open locations in Torrance and Arcadia, according to the brand’s website.

A representative with Smoking Tiger shared in a message with What Now Los Angeles that both locations are expected to open this summer, but further details, including exact locations, have not been revealed at this time.

Founded in 2020, Smoking Tiger offers Korean-inspired coffee and pastry offerings. Key flavors include banana milk, yuzu, misugaru and mugwort.

“Smoking Tiger was first established in 2020 with the goal to create a space where people of all ages can come together to create shared memories and embrace cultural differences without barrier,” the website states. “For us, spreading Korean culture has always been our priority and is the core of who we are as a brand. We want to stay true to our roots and allow others to experience our culture in ways we know best: through specialty coffee and well-crafted pastries.”

Currently, the brand features the Smoking Tiger Coffee and Bread in Buena Park, the Smoking Tiger Bread Factory in Cerritos, and the Smoking Tiger Coffee Lab in Monterey Park, Pomona, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Rowland Heights, San Gabriel, Gardena, Brea and Whittier.

The coffee lab locations feature pour-over coffees, espresso drinks and new beverage lines.
