Kristy’s Creole Kitchen, which currently operates at City Kitch in Wesley Heights, will be moving to South End this April, according to a recent announcement from owner Kristy Jackson.

It will be taking over the space that formerly housed upscale Mediterranean restaurant Mazi, which shuttered at 1300 South Blvd in July after a several-months stint in the space.

Kristy’s Creole Kitchen currently serves items such as Cajun fried chicken wings, Creole seafood gumbo, New Orleans shrimp poboys, sweet chili Bourbon Street salmon bites, jambalaya, shrimp and grits, and fried catfish. The new full-service location will offer a bar area as well, adding craft cocktails to the menu.
