Upcoming Restaurants in Atlanta
New coffee shops, gelato spots, pizzerias, and more are preparing to welcome diners across Atlanta. Each concept brings a distinct offering to Atlanta’s growing dining landscape. Here are the upcoming openings to watch:
The Upper Room

The popular coffee-and-cocktail spot in Ponce City Market, The Upper Room, is expanding. A second location is on the way and will open this spring at Colony Square in Midtown. The new location will also introduce additions to the brand’s signature menu.
Owners Kelsey Maynor and Shakirah DeMesier say they found the large outdoor area at Colony Square appealing. The new space offers room to grow while continuing to serve favorites like the espresso martini. Read more about the opening here.
Refuge Coffee Co.

Refuge Coffee Co. is opening its fourth retail location in Lulah Hills this spring. The nonprofit coffee brand has been operating for about 10 years while growing its footprint. The brand trains and employs resettled refugees and immigrants.
The brand is converting a former Meineke shop for the new location. It will feature a sleek design with large glass garage doors and will join the existing tenants at EDENS soon. Read more about the opening here.
Joupe Jeht

Joupe Jeht will soon be serving its Cambodian delicacies at a brick-and-mortar location. Aiming to open this year, the spot will be located in Jiles Plaza at 3055 N. Main St. It is ready to create a warm space where diners can enjoy the vibrant flavors of Cambodian homestyle food.
The space is under construction, with more details expected to be announced soon. Joupe Jeht will serve its menu in the new space, including tender beef sticks, spring rolls, nom pao, chicken curry, and sticky rice. Read more about the opening here.
