Village Pub is a staple throughout the Valley. The booming gaming, eatery, and bar chain is now embarking on opening its 17th location in the Greater Las Vegas region. According to the City of Las Vegas licensure the Village Pub filed permits for gaming, tobacco, and alcohol at 8200 W Charleston Blvd.
Dating back to 1968, Village Pub & Poker is operated by Ellis Island Casino, which currently operates 16 spots across Vegas, Henderson, and Summerlin. At the helm of it all is Gary Ellis, who confirmed with What Now Las Vegas that renovations on the W. Charleston location should be completed in a few months.
“The original Village Pub location was opened in 1968, on the corner of Koval and Flamingo, where Ellis Island Casino & Brewery sits today, as a small locals’ bar with only two items on the menu: a bowl of chili and a ham sandwich,” the Village Pub website reads.
“When Ellis Island expanded into the casino it is today, the Village Pubs were opened to pay homage to the original location. Over time, the little pubs grew in popularity, and we began to grow.”
With more than 15 Village Pub locations now operational throughout the Valley, the brand continues to make a lasting impact.
“With a mission to serve great food, at great prices with generous gaming and a dedication to our guests’ happiness and service,” the website reads.
While Ellis was unable to share further details about the upcoming opening by the time of this publication, he did confirm that you can expect the same menu as all the other Village Pub locations throughout the Valley serve.
The menu includes a variety of American fare and bar classics like the Cobb Salad, Zucchini sticks, and pot pie. The Village Pub also offers Italian favorites like Chicken Parmesan and offers a full bar.
Village Pub is expected to open at 8200 W Charleston Blvd this year.
