A woman-owned breakfast-to-lunch spot in Sacramento is getting ready to roost in Orangevale.
Toasted Rooster Cafe is planning its second location at 8841 Greenback Lane in Orangevale’s Cable Park Shopping Center, reports the Sacramento Business Journal. The standalone space was most recently occupied by Denny’s, which permanently shuttered in November.
Although owner Carrie Wolfe could not be reached for comment, the new outpost is expected to mirror the original’s crowd-pleasing menu. The lineup includes a range of breakfast, brunch, and lunch staples, including pancakes, waffles, skillets, scrambles, sandwiches, salads, burgers, and tacos. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are also available.
The drink menu features classics like coffee, tea, juice, and soda, along with beer, seltzers, micheladas, and cocktails. Additionally, diners can choose from nearly 20 mimosa varieties, ranging from classic orange to more creative varieties such as pineapple, watermelon, and spicy ranch.
“We are committed to providing quality, affordable food paired with great service,” reads the restaurant’s website. “Going above and beyond to ensure our customers feel like they are having a home-cooked meal without the mess at home. Join us for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.”
An opening timeline has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for updates as Toasted Rooster Cafe prepares to land in Orangevale.
