Scooter’s Coffee Building New Drive-Thru Location in Bourbonnais

A new coffee option off of Interstate 57 is on the way.

The Nebraska-based coffee chain has more sites planned for Chicagoland.

Conversations are happening online about a new Scooter’s Coffee coming to 530 S Main Street in Bourbonnais. It is confirmed to be under construction, and will soon serve delicious coffee fans have come to expect. Franchisee Thanga Pichaikani told What Now Chicago he is hoping to open the shop by late summer.

Pichaikani joined the Scooter’s team two years ago, and last year he obtained the space on S Main Street. He is an avid coffee drinker, and this will be his first location.

“Construction is on schedule,” Pichaikani said.

Cafes serve both drinks and food, with coffee favorites such as the iced “fudgelicious latte,” an espresso with mocha and vanilla, drizzled in chocolate and topped with whipped cream. Locations also offer thirst quenchers with fruit flavors, teas and lemonade. For food options, sandwiches, pastries and breakfast burritos are a few options.

Scooter’s has multiple locations in the Chicago area, including in Bolingbrook, Oswego and Wheeling. The company has also sought expansion in southern Illinois in recent years. What Now Chicago previously covered Scooter’s location coming to Downers Grove, which is now open.

The coffee spot will be on the east side of E Main Street, across from Chicago Dough Company. This is also close to Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant, El Burrito Loco and Twins Sip. Bourbonnais is about an hour drive south of Chicago.
