Mz. Chicks Wings and Things is bringing some Minneapolis heat to the Valley. According to a City of Las Vegas permit, the soulful mobile trailer will operate out of the Trujillo Commissary at 560 E Lake Mead Blvd. But, we’re sure you’re bound to see this food truck roaming throughout the streets of Las Vegas and at local events.

“Since we’re mobile, we’re able to serve different areas and connect with a wide range of customers on a regular basis,” Mz. Chicks Wings and Things owner Jacqueline McGill said in an interview with What Now Las Vegas.

“We move around to different locations, so the best way for customers to find us is by checking our social media, where we post our daily locations and updates.”

McGill started Mz. Chicks in Minneapolis in 2024.

“Mz. Chicks was sparked by my passion for cooking and bringing people together,” McGill said.

“Food has always been a way to connect, comfort, and create memories. I wanted to build something that reflects that feeling, while adding my own unique twist.”

After serving Minneapolis since its inception, Mz. Chicks Wings and Things is making the permanent move to the Valley.

“The transition has been both exciting and meaningful,” McGill shared.

“It felt like the right time to plant roots and really grow within one community.”

Mz. Chicks Wings and Things is comfort food with a twist.

“Everything is seasoned with my own house blend, and every dish is made with care. It’s soulful, flavorful, and meant to feel like home, while still offering something different,” McGill said.

“Our Sister Rolls are definitely a standout, with four unique options: Spicy Cabbage & Shrimp, Mac and Candied Yams, Turkey Dressing & Collard Greens, and Pork Cabbage. We also serve Southern-style fried chicken, real catfish, and favorites like fries and onion rings. Everything is made with intention and packed with flavor.”

Mz. Chicks comes with a whole lot of flavor and even more ambition.

“I want to bring comfort, culture, and connection. My goal is for people to not only enjoy the food but to feel welcomed and appreciated every time they come to Mz. Chicks,” McGill said.

“Mz. Chicks Wings and Things is built on passion, perseverance, and purpose. Every plate is made with love, and every customer is part of the journey. Be sure to follow us on social media to see where we’ll be next—I look forward to serving you.”

Mz. Chicks Wings and Things will operate out of the Trujillo Commissary at 560 E Lake Mead Blvd, but you can find the food truck on the streets of Sin City this Spring and at local events by staying up to date with the brand’s social media pages.
