Mexican restaurant Don Cuco, which closed earlier this year in Lancaster, is planning a return to the city under a new name and concept. The team will reopen as Cuco’s Cantina in a new location at 2010 West Ave. J8, Suite 101, according to a message sent to What Now Los Angeles from co-owner Jayson Garcia.

The new concept is currently in the process of securing an ABC permit. Garcia said menu details are still in the works, and an opening timeline has not been announced yet.

Don Cuco offered various dishes focused on Mexican cuisine, including quesadillas, taquitos, nachos, enchiladas, burritos, tacos and fajitas. The spot also offered a margarita-driven cocktail menu.
