The Kickin’ Crab is kicking up something new for Sin City. According to a Clark County permit, the Viet-Cajun-style seafood boil food chain is slated to open in Spring Valley at 4190 S Rainbow Blvd, Ste. 1.
The new Las Vegas opening is already listed as “coming soon” on The Kickin’ Crab website.
What Now Las Vegas attempted to reach out to The Kickin’ Crab founder, Jan Nguyen, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
Nguyen founded the brand in Southern California in 2017. Nguyen immigrated from Vietnam in the 1970s and worked in Louisiana, where she learned the Cajun cooking style. She later combined this with Vietnamese flavor profiles at home before launching the restaurant.
The Kickin’ Crab has grown to multiple locations, featuring a signature bagged-seafood service. There are now more than 20 The Kickin’ Crab restaurants in California, Texas, Arizona, and Missouri, with California having the most locations.
“Dive into a Cajun seafood experience at The Kickin’ Crab! Feast on the freshest catches, drenched in our signature KC sauces—a tantalizing blend of spicy, sweet, and tangy flavors,” The Kickin’ Crab website reads.
