Grain and Berry is planning a new location at 2017 Creekside Landing in Beaver Creek Crossings, Apex, with an opening targeted for late July to early August, franchise owner Sudarshan Krishnamurthi told WhatNow Charlotte.

The 1,600-square-foot space will mark the brand’s entry into the Apex market, bringing its lineup of superfood-focused offerings to the area, as previously reported by the Triangle Business Journal.

“My family and I focus a lot on healthy eating, and there aren’t too many options like this in the Raleigh area,” Krishnamurthi said.

“I started looking into superfood concepts, evaluated a few brands, met with their teams, reviewed their menus, and spoke with their founders. This one stood out,” he said.

“I’m looking to engage with the local Triangle-area community and support the needs of customers, whether that’s catering, school events, or providing healthy options for athletes after practice. I want to engage the local community and partner with them, so I’m actively looking for partnerships.”

He added that building relationships with nearby schools, fitness groups, and local organizations will be a key focus as the business gets established.

Grain and Berry operates as a fast-casual concept centered on nutrient-focused offerings, with a menu built around açaí bowls, smoothies, juices, and light fare such as avocado toast and flatbreads, including options catering to vegan and gluten-free diets.
