Currently with three locations in Baton Rouge, Captain Hook Wings and Shrimp is preparing to open its first location outside the Capital Region at 143 Belle Terre Blvd in LaPlace.
In a recent Facebook post, the restaurant announced that it would be bringing “great food, better service, and homemade ice cream” to the LaPlace community. The company is currently hiring staff, and an opening date is set for early May. Co-owner Jehad Issa confirmed to What Now New Orleans that the new Captain Hook location would provide the same popular chicken wings and winning formula as the other locations.
Captain Hook has built a substantial following with its fried seafood and chicken wings. Grilled seafood options include snapper and shrimp. The restaurant also sells burgers and po-boys.
