Five Upcoming Restaurant Openings in Atlanta
Last week, WhatNow covered five upcoming restaurant openings across metro Atlanta. Each concept will add to the city’s growing dining scene. Here’s a closer look at the upcoming concepts:
Larita Cafe

Larita Cafe is preparing to open in a new development named AMLI Brookhaven. Owned by Mohammed Saleh, the concept has just started construction and is expected to open in late June or early July. The cafe will occupy a 1,450-square-foot space designed to feel cozy and open.
The cafe will offer a broad range of options to appeal to a variety of customers. The menu will include gelato, pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. Read more about the opening here.
Dish’s Bagels

AMLI Brookhaven will also welcome another concept this year, Dish’s Bagels. The new bagel shop is owned by Chad Dishner and draws inspiration from his family roots in New York. The bagel shop is expected to open this spring, according to its website.
The store is under construction and is slowly creating a space that will bring New York-style bagels to Atlanta. The menu will offer bagels and schmears, breakfast sandwiches, salad sandwiches, and other items. Read more about the opening here.
Buckhead Brewing & Lodge

Buckhead Brewing & Lodge will introduce a new gathering spot in Buckhead. The store is taking over the space previously occupied by The Blind Pig Parlour Bar. The concept comes from Kenny Driggers, Tim Campau, and Reid Olsen.
The venue is designed as a pregame and postgame destination in Buckhead. The menu will feature craft beer, cocktails, wine, sandwiches, burgers, and other items. Read more about the opening here.
Black Pizza
A new pizza concept is headed to Bankhead this year. Black Pizza is heading to the neighborhood with its concept that seats a limited number of guests. Spanning across a 1,100 square-foot space, the pizzeria will seat 30 customers.
Black Pizza has yet to reveal more information about its opening timeline, menu, and other details. Read more about the opening here.
The Roux Kitchen
The Roux Kitchen is planned for Edgewood Avenue. Situated in a 5,821-square-foot space, it will seat 150 customers. However, the restaurant is yet to release details on its opening timeline.
The restaurant will operate Tuesday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Its beverage menu will feature beer, wine, and cocktails, but the food menu has not yet been disclosed. Read more about the opening here.
These openings add to Atlanta’s steady pipeline of new restaurants. More details on each concept are expected in the coming months.
