A gas station with a large presence in the U.S. is moving around the Windy City.
Chicagoland is gaining three new QuikTrip gas stations, per a report from Chicago Business Journal. These include a store at 501 N Ridge Road in Minooka which just opened, 8625 S Harlem Avenue in Bridgeview and 710 W 172nd Street in South Holland. The company is anticipating a late spring opening for Bridgeview, and South Holland will debut sometime this summer.
Quiktrip has over 900 convenience stores in the U.S., almost all in the Midwest. As of now, there are around 20 stores in Illinois. This will not be the last of the expansion from the company as Illinois is a successful market.
Those stopping in a QuikTrip can either shop for a snack or browse their food menu, which features breakfast sandwiches, subs, pizzas and taquitos. Coffees and soft drinks are also available. The company also sells “QT Gift Cards” to spend on drinks, food, merchandise and fuel.
The Bridgeview gas station is coming to the intersection of W 87th Street, right across from Mecca Jewelers and next to a McDonald’s. This is right next to an O’Reilly Auto Parts store.
Moving over to South Holland, Quiktrip will be near the intersection of Halsted Street, close to the entrance ramp for Interstate 294. Many retail and restaurants are just south of the interstate, with Park Place Plaza including a Target, Menards and Jewel-Osco.
What Now Chicago has reached out to representatives of Quiktrip and is awaiting comment.
