A new cafe serving ice cream, Italian ice, and more is opening in Fruit Cove!
This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted by Alexander Canni for Al’s Yum Yum, opening at 126 San Jose Blvd in St. Johns. Google Maps places this address in Fruit Cove, matching the address given on the upcoming restaurant’s Instagram page, which promises “hand-scooped ice cream; authentic Italian water ice; rich, velvety gelato”; and “smooth coffee & espresso.”
Al’s Yum Yum has already begun hiring as well: according to an Instagram post, the restaurant is accepting resumes until May 25.
“At Al’s Yum Yum, every visit feels like coming home,” the post says. “Our friendly team, quality ingredients, and generous portions keep neighbors coming back again and again. Whether you’re cooling off on a hot Florida day or indulging in a little everyday joy, we’re here to make it extra yummy.”
What Now reached out to Alexander Canni to ask about plans for the opening. Canni was not immediately available for comment.
