APizza Brooklyn Resto & Vino is planning an expansion.

The pizza place that brings a taste of Brooklyn pizza to South Florida, is opening a restaurant in Doral.

Trinity Blue Hospitality Group LLC has recently filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation to open an APizza at 10825 NW 40th Street #580 in Doral. An opening date has not been announced.

APizza Brooklyn’s name is a play on “A piece of Brooklyn” — a friendly reminder that the food served is the same quality and taste you’ll find at Brooklyn’s finest Italian restaurants. Owner Jason Prussing, a native of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn (the setting for the classic movie Saturday Night Fever) is on a mission to make sure you can get the dishes you crave without having to fly to New York City to eat them.

The restaurant offers homemade cuisine made with fresh ingredients and friendly service. The menu reads like a “greatest hits” of Italian-American dishes: garlic rolls, baked ziti, chicken parm, linguini carbonara, and more. Don’t forget to save room for the “Real Deal” dessert, a blend of nutella and cannoli cream that’s a house specialty.
